PT-141 Nasal Spray

PT-141 (Bremelanotide Acetate) is a synthetic melanocortin receptor agonist that enhances sexual desire and arousal through direct action on the central nervous system.

It selectively activates MC4R (Melanocortin-4 Receptor) in the hypothalamus, increasing dopamine release and sexual motivation. Unlike PDE5 (phosphodiesterase type 5) inhibitors (e.g., Viagra), its effects are independent of vascular mechanisms, making it effective for both men and women.
